DE: Guten Morgen ihr Lieben! Ich hoffe ihr habt alle den Fasching gut hinter euch gebracht und plant schon die Kostüme fürs nächste Jahr. Ich bin ein kleiner Faschingsmuffel und war auf keinem Umzug oder Ball. Stattdessen bin ich mit meiner besseren Hälfte und ein paar Freunden nach Desenzano an den Gardersee gefahren und habe etwas entspannt.

EN: Good morning everyone! I hope those of you who spent the past weekend celebrating carnival had a fabulous time and are now planning you costumes for next year! I must confess that I am not a carnival person and instead fled the scene with the Mister and a few friends and spent the weekend in Desenzano, at Lake Garda in Italy.

DE: Wenn ihr mir schon länger folgt, wisst ihr, dass Urlaub = Neues Outfit bedeutet… weshalb ich am Abend vorher noch 3 Tops und ein neues Kleid genäht habe. Die Tops stelle ich euch ein anderes Mal vor, heute gibt es Florence die Zweite zum angucken. Florence hatte ich schon letzten Herbst einmal genäht, sie stammt aus dem Sew Over It PDF Club . Dieses Mal habe ich Viskose von Stoff und Stil verwendet, ich hatte im Dezember 2.5 Meter gekauft als ich mit meiner Freundin Victoria einen kurzen Abstecher gemacht hatte. Als ich jedoch das Kleid vor 2 Wochen ausgeschnitten habe…hat mein Kater einen Ärmel geklaut und ihn zerfetzt… SEUFZ….WARUM????? Dies war jedoch der Tag vor dem Ausflug zum Stoff und Still mit anderen Münchner Nähbloggern (den Bericht dazu könnt ihr hier lesen!) weshalb ich dann am nächsten Tag noch einen halben Meter hab mitgehen lassen.

EN: If you’ve followed my blog for a while, you’ll know that a holiday = new clothes, which is why I made up 3 tops and this dress, right before I left. I will blog about the tops in a different post, today I’d like to show you my second Florence Dress, instead! I actually made up Florence the first time last autumn, she is a pattern from the Sew Over It PDF Club. I chose to use a lovely Viscose from Stoff and Stil, that I bought last autumn while visiting with my friend Victoria. When I finally got around to cutting out the dress 2 weeks ago, my cat decided to kidnap a sleeve and destroy it…. SIGH… WHY???? Luckily, this whole disaster happened the day before I was supposed to visit Stoff and Stil with a few other Munich Sewing Bloggers (you can read all about it here) Which is why I scooped up another 0.5 Meters of this monochromatic viscose and finished up the dress!

DE: Dieses Mal habe ich Florence in Größe 12 genäht, ich fand, dass es ein wenig an den Schultern gespannt hat und dass wollte ich bei meinem neuem Kleid dann nicht noch einmal haben. Auch habe ich das Oberteil wie immer um 1 Zoll verlängert und habe kleine rote Knöpfe von Stoff und Stil benutzt um dem Kleid ein bisschen pfiff zu geben. Mir gefällt das Kleid auch wirklich gut und habe es schon 2 Mal angehabt!

EN: I made up the dress using size 12, this time around. The shoulders on my first dress where a bit snug and I really didn’t want a repeat of that with my new dress. I used little red buttons from Stoff and Stil, to give the dress a little bit of umpf! Also, did my usual adjustment and lengthened the bodice by one inch. I really love how this dress turned out and have already worn it twice!

DE: Meine bessere Hälfte hat am Tag der Abreise noch schnell ein paar Bilder von mir am See geschossen, es war so ruhig den ganzen Morgen und in dem Augenblick, als ich mich dann hingestellt habe und mit dem posieren begonnen habe… kamen gefühlt 100 Menschen um zu gucken was ich mache…OH MAN!! Dann doch lieber Bilder in meinem Garten!! Ich wünsche euch noch eine schöne Wochen und viele anderen Kreativen Damen findet ihr übrigens heute bei RUMS!

EN: The Mister took some pictures at the lake the day we drove back to Germany, all morning it was so quiet, not a person in view. The moment I started posing at the lake suddenly a bunch of people appeared and stopped to watch what we were doing… UGH!!! No going to lie, taking pics in my backyard is easier!!
